Peter John Pilittere (born November 23, 1981) is the assistant hitting coach for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Pilittere played college baseball at California State University, Fullerton and was a member of their 2004 College World Series championship team.[1] He drafted by the New York Yankees in the 13th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. and played in the Yankees' organization until 2011. After his playing career ended he became a coach for numerous teams in the Yankees minor leagues.[2]
Prior to the 2018 season, Pilittere was named the assistant hitting coach of the Yankees.[3]
