Oltina is a commune in Constanța County, Romania.

The commune includes four villages:[2]

  • Oltina (historical name: Goltina, Bulgarian: Голтинa), named after the Roman settlement Altinum, whose vestiges were found in the vicinity of the village[3]
  • Răzoarele (historical name: Curuorman, Turkish: Kuru-Orman)[4][5]
  • Satu Nou (historical name: Ienichioi, Turkish: Yeniköy)[3]
  • Strunga (historical name: Câșla, Turkish: Kışla)

Demographics

At the 2011 census, Oltina had 2,522 Romanians (99.96%), 1 others (0.04%).[1]
