Old Bradwell United Football Club are a football club based in Bradwell near Milton Keynes, England. The club is affiliated to the Berks & Bucks Football Association.[1] They compete in the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two.

History

The clubs first recorded success was in the 1937–38 season when they won Division Two of the North Bucks & District Football League.[2] The club continued to play in the North Bucks league, winning the Division one title in 1977–78, until the end of the 1994–95 season, when they joined Division One of the South Midlands League.[3][4]

After two seasons in Division one, the South Midlands League merged with the Spartan League to form the Spartan South Midlands League, and founder members Old bradwell were placed in Division One North.[5] The following season the club were placed in Division one,which was renamed at the end of the 2000–01 season.[6] The club have since remained in Division One, even though they once finished bottom of Division Two at the end of the 2002–03 season.[6]

Old Bradwell United play their home games at Bradwell Sports & Social Club, Abbey Road, Bradwell, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK13 9AR.

The club captain is Shaun Ennis and the team captain is Peter Maxey (FTC).
