Odell Haggins Jr. (born February 27, 1967) is an American football coach and former player. He served as the interim head coach for the Florida State Seminoles for the final two games of the 2017 season[1] and has served as defensive line assistant coach for the Seminoles since 1996.[2]
A native of Bartow, Florida, Haggins was an All-American defensive lineman for the Seminoles. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the ninth round, 248th overall, of the 1990 NFL Draft. After three years in the NFL with the 49ers and the Bills,[3] Haggins returned to Florida State.[4]
In April 2018, Florida State University announced that Coach Haggins would be inducted into the FSU Athletics Hall of Fame in September.[5]
