Nu Serpentis (ν Ser, ν Serpentis) is a solitary[10] star in the constellation Serpens. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 16.05 mas as seen from Earth,[1] it is about 203 light years from the Sun.

This is a white A-type main sequence dwarf[3] with an apparent magnitude of +4.32.[2] It has an optical companion, a magnitude +9.4 star at an angular separation of 46 arcseconds.[11]
