Nordic Entertainment Group is a media company that was created after the deal of Modern Times Group merging the TV department with TDC A/S fell through. [1] This was also a motive in order to get the merger of the Kinnevik-owned Tele2 and Com Hem go through.[2]

The company consists of former MTG owned TV channels in the Nordic countries, Viasat and the companies in MTG Studios.
