Nevasa taluka (Newasa) (Marathi: नेवासा तालुका), is a taluka in Shrirampur subdivision of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra State of India.[1] Nevasa is a place where Sant Dnyaneshwar wrote Dnyaneshwari.

newasa is also well known for it's historical sites.
