Netherlands were expected to debut at the Turkvision Song Contest 2016, but the contest itself was later cancelled. They will now make their debut at the Turkvision Song Contest 2017 edition to be held in Kazakhstan.
History
2016
On 26 October 2016, it was announced that the Netherlands will debut at the 2016 contest in Turkey. The same day it was announced that Elcan with the song "Ana vatan" will fly the Dutch to Turkey.[1]
