Neil Hurst is an actor and presenter from Halifax, West Yorkshire best known for his television and musical theatre career.
Since 2009 Neil has appeared at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax each Christmas in their annual pantomime, clocking up almost 1000 performances on the stage.[1]
Film and Television
Neil is perhaps best known on British television as the comic sidekick of Vernon Kay on ITV's All Star Family Fortunes,[2] but his career has seen him appear in many other TV roles from drama to comedy and even presenting.
In 2016 Neil presented a documentary in the United States called Hopping The Pond. The show was a documentary about craft beers of America. Filming took place in Duluth, Minnesota and Grand Marais, Minnesota[3]
Neil has recently been announced as Benny Grew in the 2018 adaptation of Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders alongside John Malkovich and Rupert Grint. [4]

Musical Theatre
In 2017 Neil originated the role of Alan in Kay Mellor's Fat Friends The Musical, the musical premièred at the Grand Theatre, Leeds in November 2017, prior to a UK tour from January to June 2018.[6] While appearing in the musical Neil was nominated for best actor in the Entertainment Views Awards [7]
