History
The school was founded by Lalitha Menon in 1968 to perpetuate the memory of her husband, the late Shri. N.S.N. Menon.
The institution started as a primary school and was upgraded to the status of a Matriculation School in 1980 and Higher Secondary School in 1985. N.S.N Matriculation Higher Secondary School is the first school in Chromepet to attain the status of a Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1993. they also have an annexe in Chitlapakkam and a CBSE school in Chitlapakkam.
