Neal Bledsoe (born March 26, 1981) is an actor and writer of dual Canadian and American citizenship. He is named after Neal Cassady.

Career

Bledsoe was born in Toronto, Ontario, but moved to Seattle, Washington shortly afterwards, where he grew up. He attended the Shawnigan Lake School, the Idyllwild Arts Academy and the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Bledsoe is best known for his work in The Man in the High Castle and The Mysteries of Laura. He has shot many pilots for NBC The CW and Lifetime and appeared in several television series, including Gossip Girl, Ugly Betty, and Smash.

He has won several awards for his work in independent films such as Junction, West End and After the Sun Fell. He also appeared in Sex and the City 2.

On the stage, he worked on the Broadway production of Impressionism, the world premiere of Stephen Wadsworth's Figaro Plays at the McCarter Theatre and Michael Arden's award-winning production of The Pride at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

As a writer, he has written several films, poems, and short stories. He is also a sports journalist and a long-time contributor to Sports Illustrated's MMQB. His long-form series, The Delicate Moron, chronicled his attempt to play for the Los Angeles Kiss of the Arena Football League.[1]
