Seetha likes the lad and decides to accept the proposal. Meanwhile, Seetha's marriage broker shows up and clarifies that Rama was supposed to have gone to see some other girl, but ended up at the wrong house. Hearing this, Rama, Seetha as well as Seetha's parents seem disappointed. While Bullabbai's father fixes dates for Rama's marriage to the girl Rekha (Shantipriya), originally chosen for him, a school teacher Viswanatham's (Ramana Murthy) daughter.
