Naing Thet Lwin (Burmese: နိုင်သက်လွင်) is a Burmese politician who currently serves as Minister for Ethnic Affairs (Myanmar).[1]
Early life and education
Lwin was born in Kawkareik, Kayin State in 1940 as ethnic Mon. He graduated from Mawlamyine University with Philosophy.[2][3]
Politician career
Naing Thet Lwin started his political career in 1958. He served as vice chairman of Mon National Party, when the party's name changed in 1988, 2012 and 2014. In 2016, he was appointed as minister for the new ministry, Ethnic Affairs, in the new cabinet.[4]
Family
He is the father of Mi Con Chan, MP of Paung Township as NLD member.[5]
