NTV Spor was the sports division of the Turkish television channel NTV.

Launched in March 2008, NTV Spor is a dedicated TV channel producing sports-related programming 24 hours a day. Using NTV's expertise in news and sports broadcasting NTV Spor is regarded as a sports platform where fans can catch up on everything related to sports 24/7.

From the very beginning, NTV Spor aimed to provide up-to-date, impartial sports news combined with rich content and a dynamic programming format. Most programming on NTV Spor is either live or tape-delay sporting events, national and global sports news, sports-related documentaries and TV shows with special guest appearances by major sports figures. NTV Spor holds official broadcasting rights to large sporting events from various sports branches such as La Liga, NBA, FA Cup, Wimbledon, Eurobasket 2011, UEFA Euro 2012 and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

2018 closure

Discovery Communications decided to buy NTV Sports off Doğuş Media Group. The two companies agreed for the purchase. The purchase was officially completed in February 2018 and on 17 March 2018 NTV Spor officially announced that it will end broadcasting and will be replacd by DMAX. Following the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby played on 17 March 2018 and a 100% Football programming the program was finalized at 22:30 and ended with the announcement of Murat Kosova to the channel's broadcast life.[1]
