NGC 7046 is a barred spiral galaxy located about 180 million light-years away in the constellation of Equuleus.[2][3] NGC 7046 is also classified as a LINER-type galaxy.[3] NGC 7046 has an estimated diameter of 106,990 light-years.[3] NGC 7046 was discovered by astronomer William Herschel on October 10, 1790.[4]
