The NCW Tag Team Championship is a tag team championship contested in the Canadian wrestling promotion Northern Championship Wrestling. It was originally established in 1987 as the Amateur Wrestling Association Tag Team Championship when Night Warriors (SuperStar & Great Pat) were awarded the titles on May 9. In December 1991, the name changed to Lutte Lanaudière Tag Team Championship. Fantastic Express (Syl Dancer & Fantastic Franky) Franky won the vacant titles on December 12 under the name change. On January 14, 1996; the titles changed to NCW Tag Team Championship and Les Nouveaux Bourreaux (Damien & Satan) were the first champions under the second name change.
