Musunuri Kapaya Nayaka was a leader of a confederacy of several Telugu nobles who united to liberate the Telugu country from the Tughlaq rule. He ruled from Warangal in modern-day Telangana between 1336-1368 CE.[1]
As with other Musunuri Nayaks, there is little information concerning him in the historical record, and the lives of the Musunuris in general are often described as "obscure".[2][3]
