Mosaic viruses are plant viruses that cause the leaves to have a speckled appearance. Mosaic virus is not a taxon.
Species include:
- Alfalfa mosaic virus
- Beet mosaic virus
- Cassava mosaic virus (in the begomovirus genus)
- Cowpea mosaic virus
- Cucumber mosaic virus
- Panicum mosaic satellite virus
- Plum pox virus (in the potyvirus genus)
- Squash mosaic virus
- Tobacco mosaic virus (in the tobamovirus genus)
- Tulip breaking virus
- Zucchini yellow mosaic virus[1]
