Mirlind Kryeziu (born 26 January 1997) is a Kosovo-Albanian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for the Swiss club FC Zürich .

Professional career

Kryeziu joined the youth academy of FC Zürich at the age of 7 in 2004. He begun his professional career with Biel-Bienne on loan in 2015. On 13 February 2017, Kryeziu made his senior debut with FCZ in a 1-1 Swiss Challenge League tie with Neuchâtel Xamax.[1] He helped FCZ get promoted into the Swiss Super League that season.

On 12 April 2017, Kryeziu signed his first professional contract with FCZ keeping him at the club until 2021.[2] He went on to make his professional debut with FCZ in the Swiss Super League in a 1-1 tie with FC Sion on 31 March 2018.[3]

International career

Kryeziu was born in Switzerland and is of Kosovan Albanian descent.[4] Kryeziu is a youth international for Switzerland, and represented the Switzerland U17s at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[5]
