Andreas Beyer Maxsø (born 18 March 1994) is a Danish footballer who plays in the Swiss Super League for FC Zürich.

Club career

FC Nordsjælland

Maxsø played for FC Nordsjælland in his youth career, where he came from Brøndby IF as a U17 player.

On 9 December 2012, Maxsø got his professional and Superliga debut for FC Nordsjælland, in a match against FC Copenhagen.[2] Maxsø was 1 out of 6 under-19 players, who was picked to the training camp in La Manga in February 2013, with the first team squad.[3]

Maxsø extended his contract with Nordsjælland in the summer of 2016 and refused a bid from the Danish top-side FC Copenhagen, because he wanted to play for a team outside Denmark.[4] Throughout the years, Maxsø became one of the most important players for Nordsjælland. He was the second captain in the 2015–16 and became first captain in the 2016–17 season.

On 11 January 2017, Maxsø revealed that he intended to leave the club in the summer of 2017.[5]

Osmanlıspor

On 4 August 2017, it was announced that Maxsø was sold to Turkish club Osmanlıspor.[6] Maxsø was benched in nearly the whole second part of the season, and left the club after they got relegated from the Turkish Süperlig at the end of the season.

FC Zürich

On 29 June 2018, Maxsø signed on a 3-year contract for FC Zürich.[7]

International career

Maxsø represented Denmark U19s in 2013 and made his debut for Denmark U21s in 2015.
