Middletown High School is a public high school in Middletown, Ohio. It is the only public high school in the Middletown City School District.
Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships
- Boys Basketball – 1944, 1946, 1947, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1957.[3] The Middies' seven boys basketball state titles are tied (with Villa Angela-St. Joseph and St. Vincent-St. Mary) for the most of any Ohio high school.

- Butch Carter – Former player and Head Coach in the National Basketball Association, brother of Cris Carter
- Cris Carter – NFL Hall of Fame, Pro-Bowl and, All-Decade player and analyst, brother of Butch Carter. Member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team
- Carling Coffing – 2002 State Champion in golf, 2003 individual runner up Ohio State Championship[5] winner of The Big Break Sandals Resort
- Jeff Cothran – (born June 28, 1971 in Middletown, Ohio) is a former fullback in the NFL. He played his entire three-year career for the Cincinnati Bengals
- Vincent Edwards – NBA basketball player for Houston Rockets
- Kayla Harrison – First woman to win a gold medal in Judo for USA(2012 London Olympics)
