Michael 'Mick' McIntyre (born June 27, 1966) is an Australian documentarian and environmental film producer. Throughout his career in the film industry, Mick has helped make award winning films such as Yogawoman, Aussie Rules the World, and Kangaroo: A Love-Hate Story.[1]
Education
He attended Arrowhead High School for a year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1978 to 1979 while spending time in the United States. Then, from 1998-1999, he studied film documentary production at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
Career & Personal life
McIntyre began film-making when he was 12 years old. After marrying his wife, Kate McIntyre Clere, they co-founded Second Nature Films in 1997.[2]
McIntyre and his wife Kate, spent the past four years investigating how kangaroos are perceived and treated before making Kangaroo: A Love Hate Story.[3]
