The M152 is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine produced by Mercedes-Benz from 2012 to 2015.
Design
The M152 is based on the naturally aspirated M157 engine and has been revised by AMG.[1] It has a bore of 98.0 mm and a stroke of 90.5 mm, with a 12.6:1 compression ratio.[2] Compared to its predecessor, the M152 features new cylinder heads, intake manifold, and lubrication system. It also now has twin turbochargers, direct injection, and a start stop system.[3]
