Mehdi Abid Charef (born 14 December 1980 in Constantine) is an Algerian association football referee.
He was one of the referees for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda, the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
He also participated at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile and the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India
