Mattioli Woods is a provider of wealth management and employee benefit services. Headquartered in Leicester, with other offices based in Aberdeen, Buckingham, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Newmarket, Preston, and Solihull, Mattioli Woods provides bespoke advice to over 6,000 clients throughout the United Kingdom,[2] with assets under management, administration and advice in excess of £8.7 billion.[3] The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the Alternative Investment Market.

History

Mattioli Woods was founded in 1991 by Ian Mattioli and Bob Woods. The company was floated on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market in November 2005 with a market capitalisation of £22.5 million. Since becoming a public company, Mattioli Woods has expanded through both natural growth and acquisitions.[4] Notable purchases include Suffolk Life Trustee Company Limited, City Trustees Limited, Kudos Independent Financial Services Limited and Atkinson Bolton Consulting.[5] In June 2014, Kudos Independent Financial Services and Atkinson Bolton Consulting took the Mattioli Woods plc name through a high-brow rebrand.
