Mateja Jovanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Матеја Јовановић; born March 6, 2000) is a Serbian professional basketball player who currently plays on loan for the OKK Beograd of the Basketball League of Serbia. He is loaned from Mega Bemax.
Early career
Jovanović started his basketball career playing with the youth teams of Partizan NIS from Belgrade. He won 2017–18 Junior ABA League season for Mega Bemax U19 team. Over five season games, he averaged 10.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
Professional career
Prior to the 2017–18 season, Jovanović was promoted to Mega Bemax first team.[1][2]
Personal life
His father Vlada Jovanović is a professional basketball coach.
