H. Anand, popularly known as Master Anand is a Kannada actor, comedian and director who debuted as a child artist. His performance as Ganesha in the Kannada film Gauri Ganesha alongside Ananth Nag, Sihi Kahi Chandru and Ramesh Bhat is widely acclaimed.
Career
Anand began his career as a child artist in V Ravichandran directorail Kindarijogi. It is notable that his name being credited with the prefix 'Master' throughout his career in childhood, which became a popular name and has been tagged with his name to date. His rise to fame was the character he played in the film Friends which released in 2002. He then took up direction of comedy television series with SSLC Nan Maklu in 2010 which was telecasted on Asianet Suvarna. He debuted into film direction with the film 5 Idiots in 2011. He later directed Paduvaralli Paddegalu TV series for Asianet Suvarna and Robo Family TV series for Colors Kannada which were huge hit. He was a participant of second season of Dancing Stars[1] aired on Colors Kannada where he emerged as the winner[2] in the grand finale. He has acted in over 60 films[3] and has received various awards.[4] He even tasted success as a host through Drama Juniors which was telecasted in Zee Kannada followed by Comedy Khiladigalu for the same channel which is judged by Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh, Yogaraj Bhat and Rakshita.
Personal life
Anand was born on 4 January 1984 to V Hariharan and B S Latha in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has a brother Arun who is also an actor. Anand married Yashaswini in 2010 and have a son and a daughter.
