In fact, the entire property belongs to her, but according to her father‘s will, she gets it only after her marriage. Bhupathi is waiting for the opportunity to grab it. One day Raju sees the same necklace in Tara's neck and he asks her to give it back. There onwards, she starts loving him, but he doesn't. Meanwhile, Hotel Prince Manager Murthy (Ramakrishna) leads a happy family life with his wife is Janaki (Manimala) & a child. His mother Rajamma (Malathi) & sister Gauri (Vijaya Nirmala) live in the village. As Murthy married an intercaste girl, he does not reveal it to his mother & sister.

Bhupathi plans a bank robbery and succeeds in it. Murthy comes to know regarding this matter, but he keeps silence due to fear. To clear the debt on their house, Gauri comes to the city along with the lender Seenaiah (Allu Ramalingaiah). Raju steals Gauri's purse. At the same time, she is kidnapped by some goons. Raju rescues her and both of them fall in love. Raju accompanies Gopi with Gauri and safely sends her to her brother. Murthy takes her to Bhupathi for asking his help when Bhupathi is attracted to her. Murthy sends Gauri back to the village and says that he will arrange the money within a few days. Murthy takes money from Bhupathi, but he gives fake currency which he has stolen from the bank. Murthy reaches the post office to send the money, which is again stolen by Raju. Shocked, Murthy dies out of a heart attack. When Raju opens the cover, he reads the letter which is written to Murthy's mother, understands their pathetic situation and reaches Murthy’s house to give back the money. Seeing Murthy's dead body Raju realizes all his misdeeds, he immediately goes to the village and clears the debt when he comes to know that Gauri is Murthy's sister and they do not know regarding his wife & child. After that, Raju is struggling out of contrition, then a saint Baba (Chittor V. Simultaneously, Rajamma is saved by Janaki and takes her to the Ashram. She also comes to know that her son is expired and Janaki is her daughter-in-law.
