Manfred Johannes Leuchter (born 15 June 1960 in Würselen, Germany) is a German accordionist, composer, pianist and producer in world music. He mixes African and Middle Eastern music with European classical music and jazz.

Since 2000, Leuchter has toured with his band through India, Romania, Morocco, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Lebanon. He works with local musicians (including the Hewar ensemble in Syria and Driss el Maloumi in Morocco). He lives and works in Aachen, Germany and Marrakesh, Morocco.

In addition, Manfred Leuchter works as a producer of various artists, such as Reinhard Mey, with whom he occasionally accompanies on the accordion or on the grand piano live on stage.[1] He is also a composer of theatrical music.
