Manatsu no Tōriame (真夏の通り雨, lit. "Midsummer Shower") is a song by Japanese singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru. It was released digitally April 15, 2016, at the same as her other new single, Hanataba o Kimi ni. The song is the theme to NTV's news show NEWS ZERO. The single is Utada's first release since 2012's Evangelion 3.0 theme song Sakura Nagashi, along with Hanataba o Kimi ni, and it marks her official comeback to Japanese music scene.
