'Malavedar is one the tribal people in kerala.Many of living in kottayam,idukki,pathanamthitta,thiruvananthapuram,kollam districts.They are Economicaly,educationaly,socialy far away from the main stream.Malavedar speaks malayalam and their own tribal tongue also.Malavedan' (Malai Vedan) is a Dravidian language of Kerala and Tamil Nadu that is closely related to Malayalam.
