Major League Baseball 2K9 Fantasy All-Stars is a Nintendo DS spin-off of Major League Baseball 2K9 in the vein of MLB Power Pros, developed by Canadian studio Deep Fried Entertainment and published by 2K Sports. The game was released on March 3, 2009.

Game play

According to the ESRB listing:

This is a baseball simulation game that incorporates whimsical, fantasy elements. Players can compete in stadiums such as a ghost town, amidst Aztec ruins, or even inside of a stomach. Besides learning how to hit, throw, and catch, players can accidentally sink in quicksand or get stung by mettlesome bees. While in the "Innards Stadium," players might hear an occasional burp.[1]

Nothing else about the game is known, though it is expected to retain similar gameplay to its predecessor.

Cover athlete

Like MLB 2K9, Tim Lincecum is the cover athlete, albeit in cartoon form.
