Magic Waters

Magic Waters is a Rockford Park District waterpark in Cherry Valley, Winnebago County, Illinois.[1][2][3] It is located next to the interchange between Interstate 39/U.S. Route 51 and Interstate 90 near U.S. Route 20.[4]

History

On October 10, 2018, Rockford Park District announced that they had reached an agreement for Six Flags to operate Magic Waters Waterpark starting Spring 2019.

Magic waters is home to a number of water slides:

Typhoon Terror: ProSlide enclosed Tornado 24

The Abyss: 2 Enclosed tube slides with ambient interior lighting

Paradise Pipelines: 2 Open tube slides

Tropical Twisters: 3 Serpentine body slides

Double Dare Drop: 2 White Water West Freefall body slides

Tsunami Bay: Wave pool, claims to be Illinois' Largest

Tiki Island: White Water West AquaPlay structure

Splash Magic River: Lazy River

Little Lagoon: Kiddie play area

Screaming Lizard: AquaLoop body slide
