Madhu Bangarappa is an Indian politician, producer and actor from Karnataka.

Career

S. Madhu Bangarappa was a Janata Dal (Secular) Political party Member of Legislative Assembly elected from the Sorab constituency.[1].He is also candidate for the Shimoga seat Lok sabha by polls 2018. He is the main influence in the Bangarappa sons family rift, he along with his sisters has made various plans and tactics for the separation between his blood brother Kumar Bangarappa. He was also responsible in the 2014 parliamentary election of the Shimogga district from the JD(S) party. He announced his sister Geetha Shivrajkumar as candidate despite of knowing that Rajkumar Family was against it. She lost with third place and also lost deposit with two big names Bangarappa and Rajkumar despite of shimogga being the vote bank for the eediga community he belongs.

Madhu has also produced Kannada feature films such as Belliyappa Bangarappa (1992) which were big blockbuster hits in which his brother Kumar Bangarappa has and co-Produced.

Personal life

Madhu Bangarappa was born to former Chief Minister of Karnataka late S. Bangarappa and late Shakuntala Bangarappa. He has an elder brother Kumar Bangarappa and 3 sisters.
