The Yugoslavian 60mm M57 Mortar[2] was generally based on the design of the US 60mm M2 Mortar. Today they are produced in Serbian company PPT-Namenska AD,[3] And they are still in use in Serbian army Special Brigade.[4][5]
Purpose
M57 60mm mortar is intended to provide fire support on short ranges. It is capable to annihilate live force, firing posts, machine gun nests.
