PASARS 16 first prototype

PASARS-16 is a Serbian Short range air defense system unveiled in 2017 by Yugoimport and built by Zastava TERVO. It uses a FAP 2026 6x6 military truck chassis that carries Bofors 40 mm gun and 2 short range RLN-1C surface to air missiles. The RLN-1C is partial based on the Russian air-to-air missile R-13M in context of frontal canards section and head shape and comes with completely new electonics for guidance, seeker head and new rocket engine with modern composite propellant that enables the launch of the rocket off the ground.
