Love Exercise (Chinese: 愛的練習語) is the first cover album and the third book of Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released on 31 October 2008, by Gold Typhoon. It contains covers of ten English songs, and the book teaches English learners the method of learning English words and expressions through listening to the ten English songs. The album was scheduled to be released on 7 March 2008, but it was forced to be delayed due to the withdrawal from the entire Greater China market of EMI, the parent company of Tsai's record label at the time, Capitol, in early 2008.[1] The Chinese and Taiwanese operation of EMI was sold to Typhoon Group and reformed as Gold Typhoon in August 2008, and the album was rescheduled to be released in October 2008.[2] However, Tsai's busy schedule means she wouldn't have as much time for her promotional duties for the album, hence it didn't get any promotion or anything.[3] It has sold more than 30,000 copies in Taiwan alone, and became the best-selling Western-language album of the year in Taiwan.[4] The lead single, "I Won't Last a Day Without You", reached number 7 on the Hit FM Top 100 Singles of the Year.[5]
