The Lourdes Gray Wolves, are the athletic teams of Lourdes University. Lourdes competes in National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (|NAIA) Division II. They have been a member of the NAIA II since 2010. The university is a member of the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (2011–present) and Mid-America Men's Volleyball Intercollegiate Conference (2011–present) and Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (Division II 2013–present). Lourdes is currently fielding 18 varsity teams in 11 sports:

History

On January 16, 2008, Lourdes College announced that they would be called the Gray Wolves. An athletic identity was also revealed.[3][4] In July 2009, Roseanne Gill-Jacobson was named the first athletic director in Lourdes College history.[5] In August 2010, the first home game for any athletic team at Lourdes College was held. The women's volleyball team was victorious over Ohio State University at Marion.[6] On December 19, 2012, it was announced that Lourdes had added men's and women's lacrosse, as well as competitive cheer and dance as sports.[7]
