Lotus Fivestar Cinemas (M) Sdn Bhd (doing business as Lotus Five Star Cinemas, also known as LFS) is a cinema chain in Malaysia owned by the Lotus Group. Their biggest cinema is located at The Summer Mall in Kota Samarahan, Kuching, Sarawak. LFS Cinema houses over 25 outlets and 108 screens in both Peninsular and East Malaysia. Lotus Five Star is also a major Indian movie distributor in Malaysia.[1] LFS Cinemas competes with Golden Screen Cinemas, TGV Cinemas, and MBO Cinemas.
Overview
Lotus Five Star is a cinema chain that began in the 1980s and now operates 24 cinemas. LFS Cinema introduces the first Dolby Atmos hall in East Malaysia at LFS Summer Mall. LFS is also dedicated to screening multilingual movies of different genres to satisfy the interests of its wide range of customers. They also owns Coliseum Theatre, the oldest cinema in Malaysia, since 2012 and it's famously known as the "Indian Cinema" or "Bollywood Cinema" among the locals due to most of their premieres being Kollywood and Bollywood movies. 13 out of 26 LFS Cinema are now known as mmCineplexes since 1 Oct 2017.[2]

Lotus Five Star AV
