Logir people

The Logir are an ethnic group numbering a few thousand people living in Eastern Equatoria state, South Sudan.They are part of the Eastern Nilotes who were originally staying in the present land Ethiopia, precisely on an area on top of Lake Turkana.They then moved to South Sudan after being displaced by the Oromia of Ethiopia.They came to Stay at their present place on top of Uganda where they found the Madi people[1] And not only that they are the origin of Eastern Equatoria and toward the extended part of Uganda.Salome Bwayo and Raphael Awuoi did a research in juja jomo Kenyatta university of agriculture and technology about the logir people.Salome comes from KAKUMA refugee camp and she is an exoertee in anthropology. She loves reading novels alot and her best writer is Stephen Harvey.
