Lloyd Jones (politician)

Lloyd Jones (born September 23, 1937) is an American retired politician who served in the Alaska Senate until 1992, when he was succeeded in office by Robin L. Taylor.

He was born in Elma, Washington and attended J. M. Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington.[1] A Republican,[2] Jones represented District A in the Alaska Senate between 1987 and 1992. Jones also served on the Petersburg, Alaska City Council. Jones was in the logging business.[3] His wife was Jan Faiks who also served in the Alaska Senate.[4]
