Ever Decent  Panama The container ship collided with the cruise ship Norwegian Dream ( Bahamas) in the English Channel 17 nautical miles (31 km) off Margate, Kent, United Kingdom and caught fire. She was beached and all 40 crew were rescued by helicopter.[5][6]

Rachel Harvey United Kingdom Jersey The fishing vessel struck rocks in stormy seas 200 yards (180 m) off Peninnis Head in the Isles of Scilly and was wrecked. All six crew members were rescued, but one was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.
