Bangladesh
The total number of Mobile Phone subscriptions in Bangladesh has reached 145.114 million at the end of December 2017.[11] The country's telecom regulator is the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

As of February 2018, total four mobile operators are truly operational. Airtel merged with Robi and Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited (ownership: SingTel (44.54%), Pacific Motors (37.95%) and Far East Telecom (17.51%)), which used 'Citycell' and 'Zoom Ultra' brands, is no longer operating commercially. On 19th February 2018 Government has given FDD-LTE license to above four telecom operators. Besides, there are another three LTE licensed operators: Banglalion, Qubee and OLLO;[12] which do not have permission for voice services. AMTOB is a national trade organization representing all mobile telecom operators in Bangladesh.
Bhutan
As of June 2016, the penetration rate in Bhutan was 690,000 subscribers in total, or over 90% penetration rate.[13]

1. CSL and New World Mobility merged in April 2006 and became CSL New World Mobility Group. The two networks operated separately until 2010 when the network of New World Mobility was merged into the network of CSL.

3. July 2005: HKT Limited(also known as PCCW), former owner of CSL, has agreed in June to buy the 59.9% stocks of Sunday held by the two biggest shareholders at HK$0.65 each share. The acquisition has received approval from Office of the Telecommunications Authority, and has progressed to a mandatory unconditional cash offer to buy the remaining stock at HK$0.65 per share. Total cost to PCCW will be approx HK$1.942bn, allowing its reentry into the wireless market by possessing Sunday's 2G (GSM 1800) and 3G (UMTS) licences.
4. In May 2014, Australian telecommunications giant Telstra announced it had completed the sale of Hong Kong-based mobile business CSL to HKT Limited, with proceeds for its stake totaling US$1.99 billion.
India
As of July 2018, India has 1.157 Billion subscribers in total or 88.7% penetration rate.[44] The country's telecom regulator is the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
