This is a list of dairy product companies in the United States. A dairy product is food produced from the milk of mammals.[1] Dairy products are usually high energy-yielding food products. A production plant for the processing of milk is called a dairy or a dairy factory.

The name comes from a statement to his young bride to use her imagination about a thriving dairy operation one day. The young visionaries named it Imagination Farms.

The co-op states that it has about 3,600 direct producer-members, 1,000 member-cooperatives, and about 10,000 employees who process and distribute products for about 300,000 agricultural producers,[7] handling 12 billion pounds of milk annually.[8]
