According to the parliamentary regulations, a chair person of the Ukrainian parliament during his or her term at the position, officially votes in the parliament among the non-affiliated group.

  3. From November 12 to December 9, 2008 Oleksandr Lavrynovych performed functions of Chairman ex officio as the First Deputy Chairman.
  4. During his term as Chairman, Turchynov switched allegiance to People's Front, which was established on 10 September 2014. People's Front did not take part in the 2012 Ukrainian parliamentary election and it never had a political faction in parliament prior to the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election.[11][12][13]
