List of ''The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.'' episodes
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. is an anime television series produced by Egg Firm and J.C. Staff, based on the manga series created by Shūichi Asō and published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The series follows Kusuo Saiki, a high school student with all manner of psychic abilities, who constantly faces misery caused by both his powers and the strange people around him. The series began airing in Japan on TV Tokyo from July 4, 2016, airing five short episodes each week followed by a compilation episode, the series will contain one hundred and twenty episodes in total, along with twenty four compilation episodes. The series is licensed in North America by Funimation, who are simulcasting the series as it airs and began releasing an English dub from August 7, 2016.[1][2]
For the first twelve compiled episodes, the opening theme is "Seishun wa Zankoku janai" (青春は残酷じゃない Youth Isn't So Cruel) by Natsuki Hanae while the ending theme, also used for the short episodes, is "Psi desu - I Like You" (Ψです I LIKE YOU) by Denpagumi.inc. From the thirteenth compiled episode onwards, the opening theme is "Sai-Sai-Saikōchō!" (最Ψ最好調！ The Most Favorable!) by Denpagumi.inc while the ending theme is "Kokoro" (こころ Heart) by Hanae. From Season 2, the first ending theme is "Saihakkenden!" (Ψ発見伝！) by Denpagumi.inc and the first opening theme is "Sairento Purizunā" (Ψレントプリズナー the Silent Prisoners) by Hiroshi Kamiya, Daisuke Ono and Nobunaga Shimazaki. The second opening theme is "Oteage Psychics" (お手上げサイキクス Psychics Who Have Given Up Hope) by Shiggy and the second ending theme is "Duet Shite Kudasai" (Duet♥してくだΨ Please Duet With Me) by Hiroshi Kamiya, Ai Kayano and Eri Kitamura.

With a glitch in his antenna controllers, Kusuo is transported back 20 years, but he inadvertently bumps into Nendo's father and causes his parents to not meet and fall in love. Kusuo tries to fix that but when he returns to his time he finds the world has been destroyed, which he eventually traces to his brother Kusuke's shenanigans. While trying to distance himself from his delinquent reputation, Aren receives a love letter. Saiki discovers that the new transfer student, a gyaru named Mikoto Aiura, has real psychic abilities of fortune telling and reading people's auras. He tries to avoid her, especially when she says she is looking for her Mr. Right with the initials S.K. Saiki transforms into a little kid to stop a fight between Yūta Iridatsu and some bigger boys, but when he learns Yuta had initiated the fight, he changes his mind. Saiki finds himself in a time loop with Nendo and Kaido, and must try to break it when an accident is about to happen. Kokomi summarizes her perfect life with the exception of winning Saiki over. Mikoto continues to search for her Mr. Right while being bothered about not being able to read auras at school, but when Chiyo accurately figures out the cause, Saiki becomes concerned. When Mikoto sees the mark of death on Chiyo, Saiki is forced to reveal his powers to Mikoto in order to save her. Chono invites Nendo, Kaido and Saiki to a circus performance, but injures himself before the show so he asks Saiki to take his place. Sensing an accident, Saiki jumps in to do some of the other circus stunts. Saiki's class goes into a panic when Kokomi is absent because of a cold. | ||
