Lindsay Walters is an American political aide, currently serving as White House Deputy Press Secretary.[1][2][3][4] She also serves as an advisor to the Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She frequently leads press gaggles aboard Air Force One.[5] Prior to joining the Trump Administration, Walters served as the National Spokeswoman at the Republican National Committee.[6][7][8][9][10] Before joining the RNC, Walters was a member of Illinois Republican Bruce Rauner's gubernatorial campaign. Rauner defeated incumbent Democratic governor Pat Quinn in 2014. She went on to serve in Rauner's administration as Deputy Press Secretary. She came to Illinois from the private sector working for the strategic firm, The Glover Park Group. In 2012, she worked for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.
Personal life
Walters graduated from Archmere Academy[11] and Drexel University. At Drexel, she received a BS in marketing, advertising, and public relations from the College of Business and Administration in 2012. While at Drexel, she played on the women's soccer team.[12]
