Limonium sundingii is a species of flowers that belong to the Plumbaginaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde and is listed as critically endangered by the IUCN.[1]

Together with Limonium braunii, Limonium brunneri and Limonium jovibarba, its local name may be carqueja.[2]

Distribution and ecology

Limonium sundingii are mainly found in the mountainous portions of the Island of São Nicolau between 600 and 700 m in elevation, They are founded in humid and subhumid areas.[2]
