The Libertarian Party of Delaware is the Delaware affiliate of the Libertarian Party. It was founded in 1971 alongside the Libertarian Party of the United States of America. The party is one of seven political parties registered in the state of Delaware. As of June 1, 2016 there are 1,226 members statewide, with 208 members in Kent County, 768 members in New Castle County, and 250 members in Sussex County.[1]
