Leicester Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in Leicester, England. The club was established in 1894. The home ground is at Leicester Grammar School.[1][2]

The men's and women's sides function as separate clubs, with ladies side having produced a number of international players and being one of the most successful clubs in England having won six league titles.

The ladies 1st XI play in the England Hockey League Women's Premier Division.[3][4]

The rest of the ladies teams and the men's teams play in the Midlands League. The club fields five ladies teams, six men's teams and various youth teams. The Academy: Leicester recently launched their Junior Academy with training, matches and tournaments for Junior players aged 6 - 18. The club is well-known for producing high class players, who often go on to achieve International honours. The Academy is a more professional structure to Junior development. Plenty of opportunities for recreational hockey, as well as for elite players. Emphasis on the team, friendships and loyalty. Leicester Hockey Club is a fully inclusive club, with all coaches and volunteers DBS checked. CLubMark Accredited - a robust club certification, showing high standards of coaching and management, within a safe environment for all players. Young players are encouraged to take qualifications in coaching and umpiring.
